Pool resurfacing startup and first-fill care
The work isn’t finished when the surface goes on. Ask who manages filling, water testing, brushing, and the handoff to regular pool care. Follow the selected finish manufacturer’s instructions.

Which pool finish should I choose?
Compare samples of the actual plaster, quartz, or pebble product for texture, appearance, care, and written coverage. Pool photographs help with inspiration but do not establish an exact water color.
How long will my pool be out of use?
The answer depends on preparation, repairs, material availability, weather, and the selected finish’s startup instructions. Ask for the full period from taking the pool out of service to permission to swim.
Can I replace tile during resurfacing?
Yes, tile and coping can be considered in the same scope. Agree on the sequence before work starts so finished surfaces are protected.
