Practical pool advice

Compare plaster, quartz, and pebble pool finishes

Start with texture, appearance, care, and the actual product. A category name alone does not tell you how a finish will feel or perform.

Plaster pool finishes

Traditional plaster is one option for a familiar pool interior. Ask about the specific formulation, color choices, installed texture, and care instructions. Do not judge a finish only by a photograph of water.

Quartz pool finishes

Quartz finishes incorporate quartz aggregate. Products vary in appearance and texture, so handle samples and discuss the installation system. A category comparison does not replace the manufacturer’s specifications.

Pebble pool finishes

Pebble finishes use exposed aggregate and come in different blends and sizes. Compare real samples for comfort on feet, steps, and benches. Smaller aggregate does not make every product feel identical. We work with authorized PebbleTec builders and installers in your area to create a beautiful, long-lasting pool finish that brings your dream outdoor living space to life.

Put samples in context

View the finish beside your proposed tile and coping. Lighting, water depth, surroundings, and water conditions affect perceived color. Ask to see authorized examples of the exact product where possible; generated inspiration images cannot establish a color match.

Ask about care and coverage

Discuss startup, ongoing water chemistry, cleaning, and warranty terms for the selected product. Avoid choosing on an unsupported lifespan promise. Good preparation and appropriate care belong in the conversation alongside the finish itself.
